Since the firm was founded in 2006, our core mission has been to design livable residential and work spaces within an urban context. At the heart of our work is the question of how we can positively influence the lives of the people for whom we build. Through the medium of architecture, we aim to create atmospheres that help open up opportunities for the residents of our buildings to realize their individual visions of life, while fostering a long-term connection to the place and the social fabric of the community. In our designs, we draw upon the rich treasure trove of architectural ideas and the imagery of centuries of architectural history, without relinquishing the design tools of our time. The typological traditions of European urban planning serve as our model and guiding principle. We are less concerned with inventing something new than with understanding what has been proven effective, testing it against the challenges of the present, and making it applicable. Our goal is timeless architecture, featuring balanced, well-proportioned facades and finely coordinated, durable materials that age gracefully: buildings built to last.
